No-outcome promises wording
One of the fastest ways AI creates problems is by adding certainty: outcomes, timelines, guarantees, or “this will fix it” language. Use neutral framing that stays aligned with what was discussed.
Replace certainty with neutral framing
Swap “will” / “definitely” for more neutral phrasing:
• “The aim is to…” (not “this will…”)
• “A possible next step is…” (not “you must…”)
• “We agreed to review at…” (not “you’ll be clear in…”)
Timeline risk (what to avoid)
Avoid: “in X days you’ll see…”, “by next week it’ll be…”
Prefer: “We agreed to review at [timeframe mentioned], and adjust if needed.”
Mini-checklist
✓ No guarantees or “fixed” language
✓ No timelines unless explicitly discussed (and still neutral)
✓ Message matches the consultation (no added steps)
